BACK ON BLACK

 

 

I'm always complaining that I don't have enough time to post my outfits. Well, still short in time but I thought a quick outfit post should be fine. In fact we took this pictures at the University of Vienna. I was on the way to borrow some books. What I hate most about writing my thesis is carrying around these heavy books. No. I can't stay at home. I'm the kind of person that would start cleaning up my room (but not finish it) rather than doing something productive.

Well, what'cha say 'bout my new faux leather skirt I got from the kids department? I have to admit that this is one of the benefits of being a smurf. The kids departments do have such nice and cute garments - most of them for just half of the price I'd normally pay. Well,...they say that you should reflect on the outside what you are on the inside so I felt like dressing all black because I feel dead after all this stress I'm going through. LOL just kiddin'. Just being into black on black lately. If so, I would have to post an cozy pyjama outfit because all I feel is weariness. Besides.. you can't go wrong with black, huh? ;)

The good thing about working in a hotel is actually to get ready in a nice room on the 15th floor with a nice view when the yearly kick-off party is taking place there.
And that's exactly what I did. This years motto: Mafia Bosses and Diamond Girls. The only things I had in mind for the last weeks were my thesis and my exams so because of that ...I had nothing to wear.  I had to improvise and pieced everything that I had together to be properly dressed. My necklace turned into a nice headpiece and my LBD did its job. This long gold necklace already gathered dust for almost a year but I'm glad that I don't throw everything away. If I'd do that I'd totally be screwed on this kind of occasions.

I just needed this. Sometimes you just want to dress up and all you need is a good reason to do so. From being a diamond girl for one night, I turned into the greedy monster the next day and enjoyed the delicious buffet breakfast with some of the co-workers. Even If I had to get up a little earlier than I actually was planning to I enjoyed the little get together. So this was my start into my two and a half week vacation. But things are getting more serious now. I told myself to start my vacation more relaxed but I really have to get things done.

So wish me luck. I hope I stay motivated for the next days.

BEFORE THE DAY I DIE

I'MMA TOUCH THE SKY and hopefully get my bachelor's degree. Well, still hoping thatI finish my bachelor this summer. That's why I woke up early today and went to the library again to get some shit done even if I just wanted to relax on my day off. Actually it wasn't that bad because I had to go out so at least I enjoyed the beautiful weather we have here in vienna. Can't remember the last time we had such beautiful days in january without freezing our asses off. Not gonna complain but please be good to me this winter. I'll need some snow by mid-february. It's been two years since I last went snowboarding.

Hope you all had a good start into this week. Gotta go on and continue my thesis now.

WHITE PROBLEMS

I really had to put some thought into buying this coat, just because I'm that kind of person that manages to stain everything I'm wearing. When I wear my white coat I really try to be careful. Today I caught myself thinking about sitting down in the bus twice. Let's be honest. You should feel comfortable in what you are wearing. And that's really hard if you're wearing white. After all you don't want to kick around with stains all over your clothes. Getting this coat from white to off-white can't be avoided. At least I can't think of a clue to this puzzle.  So I worked this out for myself and decided to wash this coat after wearing it two times so I can wear it without tryin' to keep in mind that I have to keep an eye on everything too much.

SUPERMASSIVE BLACK HOLE

Christmas holidays are over and we're drawing close to the end of the semester again - in other words: final exams, presentations and paper deadlines. So I started my library sessions yesterday. After being productive today Kat and I went shopping (also known as accelerating incentive). We quickly took this pictures so I can share my current faves with you. I'm super in love with everything thats black (or gold) again!

Got this black velvet biker jacket from MANGO. The black faux fur vest is a christmas gift from my dearest cousins - GOOOOOD CHOICE right ?

Scuse the messy hair again ( I was a bit in a hurry this morning  - besides.. I just went to the library ;P).
