WHITE PROBLEMS

I really had to put some thought into buying this coat, just because I'm that kind of person that manages to stain everything I'm wearing. When I wear my white coat I really try to be careful. Today I caught myself thinking about sitting down in the bus twice. Let's be honest. You should feel comfortable in what you are wearing. And that's really hard if you're wearing white. After all you don't want to kick around with stains all over your clothes. Getting this coat from white to off-white can't be avoided. At least I can't think of a clue to this puzzle.  So I worked this out for myself and decided to wash this coat after wearing it two times so I can wear it without tryin' to keep in mind that I have to keep an eye on everything too much.

Ola !

It's been a while since my last outfit post but I've been working A LOT lately. So here's a short summary of the last weeks:
After my vacation in Barcelona there was a lot of work. I got promoted  (Yay!) but there was a lot I had to deal with. Hmm.. what else.. YAP I turned 22 on the 31st of July and went to that nice bar/restaurant Freyung 4  with some friends and colleagues. They have awesome cocktails and the service is flawless.
As I turned 22 I kinda needed a change, so yep...I went 12 shades lighter on my hair and actually I'm even thinkin' about going a little brighter. Whatcha say?

BASICS AND REFLECTION

In one of my earlier posts, I mentioned a brunch-date with K. While we were taking a walk through the inner city, we came across this spot and fell in love with this one.
You're not goin' to believe this, but actually this place is still under construction. It's going to be a restaurant / bar which is not just going to provide good food, but focussing on modern architecture.

I'm curious 'bout it. :) We'll figure it out soon. Maybe when we have our next brunch-date. :D

RESEARCH SATURDAY

Spending weekends at work is one thing - but a 6 hour-course at university isn't funny at all. Well, believe it or not. This saturday me and my group had a blast ! All of the attendants of my printjournalism course had to split up in teams and find a story for the next reports.

We got 3 spots to find our story. The first one was a bio-market, the second one a antique dealers' exhibition/market, and the last one a jam session in Vienna.
There were a lot of stories we could write about but there was just one big problem: They were boring.

After all we thought about writing a portrait of the simply raw bakery and its vegan cupcakes which were delicious. As there were other groups on this market, we decided to drop this story in case someone would have the same idea. But you should definetly try 'em cupcakes!!!

So we left the bio-market without a story. Visiting the antique dealers' exhibition we recognized, that the stories that came up there were just too historical for our taste. Still no story.

While we were waiting for the jam sessions to start, we saw this rikshaw - driver. One of my team members mentioned, that she'd never been on a 'faxi' before. Actually, this was my first time too. So yeah, to put it in a nutshell: This was our first rikshaw tour in Vienna. The driver came up with unbelievable stories and it was a cool experience. We got what we needed and never went back to the jam sessions haha.

All in all it was a long but enchanting day! My day started with an advertising course at my university. Apart from that the rest of the day was very enjoyable. As my cousin turned 23 recently we had a little get-together. We just decided to enjoy the lovely weather and had some incredible food at the "Medusa" restaurant/bar. A postprandial walk was badly needed and turned out into a little shopping craze. Sad thing: I left a little earlier because I still got a lotta work to finish.

Even though I just thought of posting a few pics.

Yay! DAY OFF WORK today ! Just thought of dropping a quick post. I bought this Kimono at my favourite Zara-Store. It re-opened as a Flagship Store in may. People say that it kinda reminds them of the one in 5th avenue in NYC. I wonder if it's true. Guess it's time to plan a trip to New York ! Who wants to join ?

I took my younger cousin to my favorite place in Vienna. So I thought why not take you guys with me too. We all have our moments when we just need to get away from it all and this is where I go. This is where I lose myself in thoughts. The view is just amazing.
It's like an observation point where you get a panoramic view of the whole city.
Actually it was the perfect start for a good weekend but as you guys know I'm always working on weekends. Have good one guys!
