BASICS IS THE NAME OF THE GAME

Today was a successful day for me. I got my grade for my final thesis and I got an A. All the hard
work pays off. When I think back of what I was going through the past weeks, I think of little to no
sleep, my bad mood and a lot of coffee. Lacking in concentration at home, I had to go to the
library so I wouldn't get distracted. But to save time, I just went to Starbucks right across the street
of my workplace. I was there from 9AM until 3PM and then just walked over to take my PM shift
until midnight. Same shit the next day again. I was busy all day and there was no place for other
thoughts in my head. When I'm stressed I don't even want to spend a second about thinking what
to wear. Being stressed means that there's no time to shine with your outward appearance. Still,
there's nothing worse than not feeling comfortable when you're on the go. So here's what I do.
Basics is the name of the game. My picks: a pair of destroyed denims and a simple white top.
I could leave it like that and just put my leather jacket on, but as I'm not a fan of too simple outfits,
I paired the basics with some key pieces, wearing my Valentino Rock Studs. Further I took a scarf
which I like to add to my 'boring' outfits. I combined it with my basic outfit in three different ways:

THE HEADPIECE
is perfect for bad hair days.

THE SCARF
is perfect for spring days as the weather can get kinda coolish in the evening. Further ...
wearing a scarf as a scarf might be functional, right ? ;P

THE U S E L E S S  KEYPIECE
I'm not quite sure why, but I like it when something is flying away when wearing my outfits. So if
you have a longer scarf, you can actually use it as a belt and just leave it hanging on the sides (lol
nah). I like to just put it through one loop of my jeans. Sometimes I do that when I don't have
enough space in my bag to bring a scarf with me and I know that I'll need my scarf by the end of
the day, so I won't freeze my ass off. At least that's the excuse I use. Actually I just really like
wearing it that way.

How do you pimp your basics? Let me know, which scarf pairing do you like the most? Any
other ideas?

I CAN BE RHUDE TOO

Ohhh yessss! I really missed this! And of course I missed you all! Finally I'm back with another
outfit 'cause I have found some time to shoot it yesterday. Actually I was thinking about posting
this four months ago BUT I really have to pull myself together posting this without freakin' out
completely. If you keep on reading, you will find out the reason why.

But first, just let me explain why I'm wearing an all-black-outfit again. Spring is here and I still
wanna take the opportunity to layer as much as I can to pull off my layering game one last time.
And what game is stronger than a badass all-black layering game?

My upcoming posts will be a lot more colorful, I can promise you. So this time I layered my maxi
cardigan with my snake skin optic jacket which I own since I'm 12 years old and threw over my
black faux fur vest. As you can see I am wearing my RHUDE university shirt. And this shirt is
actually the reason why I didn't want to post this outfit. Not because I don't like it, nope. I think it's
great and I really love the designs of RHUDE DESIGNS. But if someone made it to almost the top of
my shit list it's them.

I really was impressed when my friend told me about Rhude Designs about a year ago(?).  Some of
you maybe have seen the blogpost of Johny wearing their bandana shirt I got him for his birthday.
It was my first order and because it was shipped from the US it was obviously taking a little longer
than expected. My present became a belated birthday present but yeah blame it on USPS.

But this time it was different. I ordered 3 RH Baseball Snapbacks for the boys and my university
shirt (which is actually a dress when I wear it but i like it that way). So I placed my order end of
december and was expecting our order after 2-3 weeks. That's how long I had to wait last time.
After 3 weeks - still nothing. So I looked up the status of my order on their website and it was still
pending. Fine. Still wasn't blaming them because it all takes a little more time during the festive
season. When I didn't receive our order after 4 weeks, I checked the status again. Still my order was
pending. The boys also were really impatient and excited for their snapbacks and I definitely wasn't
relaxed about this anymore. If you know me personally, you'll probably know that at this point I
already was in a rage. So I decided to contact them via e-mail and 'surprisingly' got no reply. Same
thing after my 2nd and 3rd e-mail. I stopped counting my attempts of sending them e-mails. I even
tried three different e-mail addresses and was waiting for weeks for them to reply, wondering if they
already sent the package or not. I was just curious if it got lost in transit or not. Still no reply.
Nothing. Only some pictures on instagram showing the people of RD enjoying their life. After 1
month of waiting and several e-mails without any response, I checked out my IG. Apparently I wasn't
the only one waiting for their order to arrive for more than one month. So what was going on? I
wasn't quite sure because it only was my second time ordering there, and let's be honest. One year
ago they didn't have that many customers as of now.

When I was trying to look up related issues I found this:

Burnin' up with anger, I wrote my dispute via Paypal and all of a sudden RHUDE replied really
quick. After more than a month of ignoring me I got an e-mail with a superficial apology and the
request to cancel my dispute. Yeah right, F* u. Still the status of my shipment was unfulfilled. My
order wasn't even processed. I explained them that I wouldn't cancel my dispute until I could be
sure that my package would actually arrive. Their replies to my emails were at minute intervals.
Maybe they wet their pants a little bit after being ignorant and boastful with all of their  RHUDENESS.
They assured me that they have sent my package but it was sent to the wrong address.
Yeah, right. On USPS tracking displayed, that my package hasn't even left their HQ. Well, of course
there were loads of other lies. Just to shorten up the story a little bit: After apologizing again, and
sending me the proof of shipment, and adding me to their gifting list, I finally received our order 1,5
months after ordering it. However, adding their 'valued customers' to their gifting list, doesn't really
mean that they receive a gift as an apology or for all the inconveniences. It only means that you've
been added to a list. I didn't cancel my dispute until the very last day. The question is if I'd actually
have receive the order without writing a dispute. Tbh, I don't think so. Well, after posting this, I
probably will give this shirt to one of my friends. They're still fans  of RHUDE DESIGNS. You can
go and check out their designs. They are really great. It's up to you if you wanna waste your time,
running after your order.  I will never ever order from RHUDE again.
I think I'm that kind of person. Once you've lost all credit with me, there's no
way back 'cause I can be RHUDE too.

ON BENDED KNITS

I mentioned that I was saving my last outfit post so I could still provide you with some content
even if I don't have time to shoot new outfits atm. So this is what I wore on my last day in London
when I was spending the whole day at my favorite place over there: The Tower Bridge. I love
to just walk around and sit there, reading magazines and enjoy the view. Actually this time
I really was there from day to night just because I wanted to show my aunt, who was visiting
London for the first time, how the Tower Bridge looks like during the day and at night.

It was quite windy so I had to play the layering-game again. My coat was sorta thin so I just threw
my scarf over and it still added some laid back but not so scruffy look to it.
Still wanting to add some color to this outfit, I decided to go for a more colorful knitwear this time
and in combination with the rooneys it was a match.

Just take a look at the pictures though,  because I really don't have the time for a lot of blabla now,
even if I'm feeling bad not being able to give a 100% atm but I gotta save my energy and
writing skills/ideas for my thesis which is due at M I D N I G H T.  So enjoy the pictures and
I promise, I'll be back in my entirety pretty soon. I'm down on bended knits knees, beggin' you
pardon.

Wish you all a wonderful weekend <3

BUBBLE GUM ON BRICKS

Hello, hello!
Being back in Vienna also means that reality hits me right in the face. Yesterday was my first day
back at work and my final paper is due in about ten days. This means that I am not able to post as
much as I did during the last weeks. At least I thought so. I shouldn't even write this blogpost right
now. When I was taking a look at my schedules, I was thinking of how to manage to put in my next
outfit shoots and realized that I simply won't be able to shoot them. I know that some of you won't
understand how I'm not able to accommodate a number of things within one day. If you can do it,
well, good for you. Then let me know how you do it. And let me tell you one thing in advance:
I need as much sleep as a newborn does. So cutting on that one is really not the answer that I'm
looking for.

Today I also realized that I have only 12 weeks to go, until I finally will be able to say that I have
got my bachelor's degree. This is why I was telling myself that I really, really have to prioritize
wisely now and so I toyed with the idea of going offline for a week or even two.

YEEEP, riiiight. N O T A N O P T I O N at all.

Well, I knew that being lazy on my days off work would pay off at some time. So that's why I decided
to wait with my last two outfit posts from London, and voila! Now I can share them with you while I
don't have enough time to work on some new content. So here we go, let's start with the first one that
I've got left for you:

It's actually the brightest and most colorful outfit that I wore during my stay
over there. I really felt like combining these candy and bubble gum colors and still add a little
pop by wearing my sunnies. I'm not even gonna lie, it was too cold for this outfit. But that was fine
just because I was feelin' myself.

While shooting this outfit, I felt like a bubble gum on a brick wall. I love, love, looove these colors.
This outfit is similar to my CANDY CRUSH outfit, just a little bit more casual. Yep, same pants as in
the Candy Crush post.

Can't wait to repost this jacket with an all-white-outfit. But it's fine. I should write my dissertation
anyways AND the weather still sucks so it can and has to wait. Well, gootta say bye for now. My
reminders are already showing up on my desktop, telling me that I should get some shit done now.
Hope you still like this superquick outfit-post. Bye for noooow!
