WANDERLUST

I was born and raised in Vienna but usually I'm flying back 'home' to the Philippines like once in a year or every second year. To be honest, there was a point where I didn't want to spend my money on flying back that often because I wanted to see the rest of the world too. But last year was the first year where I wasn't able to fly home and I am really really homesick. I remember one of the best trips to the Philippines back in 2007. I stayed there for five weeks and it was the most different trip to the Philippines I've ever had. Normally I'm staying in Manila and Lubao, I fly to another island and come back after a week beeing at the beautiful beach. This time: Just five weeks full of travelling, beach bums, hiking, drinking and having a good time.
I miss my family, I miss the malls but what I definitely am not missing is the insane traffic there. I am planning to do my internship there so I can live there for a longer term.
Can't wait to be home again.

BTW: the pictures were not edited at all :D

AUTUMN POST

Just wanted to drop a quick outfit post before I go to bed. This is one of my new fave jackets that I bought when I was on vacation in Barcelona. I like the jacket because you can combine it in many different ways. I love autumn and I think the colors are pretty much suitable for this time of the year.

So I had another reporting job. This time at the Vienna Fashion Show. Faux Fox Magazine presented three local designers. SCHIRACH+ROSENTHAL, MILK and MARK&JULIA
We had the opportunity to be there earlier for Faux Fox Fashion Brunch. I really enjoyed the show. The designers are young, unique different and fresh. Unfortunately we had to take most of the pictures landscape because of the format we use for CITY & LIFE Magazine. You can read the article here (german).
My highlights of each collection?
I loved the colors and the rebellious style of SCHIRACH+ROSENTHAL - especially the bomber jackets.
I would wear each and every dress by MILK just because I love black and the pieces are so classy.
MARK&JULIA feat. CVD Bodychains got me with their effortless style. I fell in love with all of the bodychains. Just the perfect sophisticated accessories to give the outfits the perfect kick.

Thanks for having us Faux Fox! Much love.
