MERRY XMAS: NOT ON MY WISHLIST ANYMORE

Y'all may know that I have this really good friend of mine who never fails to text me when a good
pair of shoes or let's say heels is on sale. Well... A few days before THIS happened we were talkin'
'bout these pair of Valentino that have been on my wish list for ages now. Guess what. They're not
anymore. They're now MINE. I picked them up today and had the perfect start into this years xmas.
Just came home from our yearly family dinner at my aunts place and first thing I did was putting'
'em heels on again. Couldn't be happier right now. Not only because I have these new babies now,
but also because I was finally able to spend Christmas Eve with my family again. Over the last years
I was missing out more and more family occasions and wasn't able to spend xmas with my loved ones
a few years in a row.

Well.. I hope y'all had a wonderful celebration. Wishin' you all a blessed christmas everyone. Much
love xx

Guess, a new outfit post is coming real soon now :)

GRANNY KNOWS BEST

The items that actually become my favourite pieces are those I get from my aunts. Most of the time
they find some good old vintage pieces and give it to me. I have a lot of blazers that I got from my
aunts and I'm sure you've seen them on the blog already. The best thing about this is that I actually
don't have to spend money for this beautiful garments. My grandpartens who live in the Philippines
visited us here in Vienna for two months. Well, if you spend winter over there you will not be in need
of warm clothes - that's for sure. So we thought we find some warm clothes we can borrow to my
grandma so she doesn't have to spend money on winter clothes that she'll never need except for
her stay here in Vienna. Before my grannies flew over to Vienna my aunt already mentioned that she
found a coat which she was sure I would like . And she was totally right.
I was not the only one who became in love with this orange coat. My grandma wore it almost on a
regular basis when she was here.

If I would have seen a similar coat to this one I would not have gone for it. The thing is that I don't
like to buy flashily colors when it ocmes to jackets. For me it's a piece that you wear almost every
day and I simply find it hard to find different combinations if the colors is too jazzy already. That's
why I'm so happy that my aunt decided that I can keep this coat. (Thanks so much again Tita).

I styled this coat with some of my basics wearing ripped denims and a white turtle neck. As my outfit
for that day was pretty simple it was the perfect occasion to round it up with this colorful coat. To
keep the warmth I decided to go for brown accessories. It runs in the blood. You can see that my
grandma had pretty much the same thoughts by wearing a white blouse underneath. I can't remember
what kind of bag she wore but what I know is that she was for sure not wearing ripped jeans. Actually
when she was my pair of denims she was like "OHH, my poor grandchilt".. Grandmas - that figures :)
What I know is that I want to dress like her when I reach her age. Just better. Hahaha I'm just kiddin'.

OFSUNIFORM

Hey everyone,
after sleeping the whole day after arriving in Vienna yesterday, and attending my seminar this
morning I finally found some time to post one of my outfits I wore in Berlin. I found this cute
polka dot jumper and paired it with a white simple collar blouse. I went for my faux leather skirt
for the bottom part and rounded the outfit up with a simple black coat and a colorful scarf. My
outfit kinda reminds me of a school uniform like those they wear in movies.
I think it's the scarf in combination with the collar that gives my outfit this scholastic touch.

Nevermind, just wanted to share this outfit real quick and show you one of my fave pieces of
accessories at the moment: my silver ear cuffs. I think they can make the simplest outfits appear
so graceful and elegant but yet fresh and young. You'll find the details of this outfit at the bottom
of this post.

LNCLASSICK

Hey everyone. Yesterday I enjoyed shooting another outfit with one of my mains. I used to post
some men outfits away back as I realized that my male friends are getting more and more into
fashion. It's almost been a year since I posted my first menswear outfit on this blog. Maybe some
of you remember when I introduced you to the guy in this post : Lance Mendoza. Still trying to find
the right words to describe his style anyway. So we figured out we just stick to labelling it as
LNCLASSICK.

He holds a reverence over clothing that also reflects his taste in music, his lifestyle
and his personality. What I mean is that he can wear a simple outfit as you can see here and still keeps
his attention to detail. His combination of a go-to appearance with a touch of his celeb-style is why I
always enjoy sharing my passion with this guy. His creative outfits always have a sense of class
without skipping the fun part 'bout clothing. Btw, he's the one that texts me every time a pair of
good heels are on sale (god bless u) Haha. Here he's wearing a simple ripped black tee paired
with dark colored denims. Effortless right? Rounded up with plain but major and significant
accessories he's good to go.

BEST SELLER PROBLEMS

Wassup everyone !

I'm back with another outfit and I'm wearing one piece that is a total beauty and brings along one
big problem: almost everyone owns it. Walking down the streets of Vienna I realized that every
other woman is wearing this beautiful camel coat I picked up from Mango lately. And I've seen
a lot of women wearing it before I bought it already. That didn't stop me from still buying it.
Even the nice fashion consultants tried to keep me off from purchasing one of their best sellers.
As this was the last piece they had in store I decided to still go for it. Let's be honest: There's always
one piece of a season that everyone has an eye on. If you like it wear it. If others have it, I really
don't care (anymore). I think that if I would care and wouldn't want others to have the same garments,
I really would or should have started this fashion blog where I (at least try to) post my outfits on a
regular basis.

I think that if you try to combine your pieces differently and your game is strong at it, there's a chance
that no one will even notice that you're wearing the same piece as the other person, even if you would
stand next to this person. Well, it's a bit difficult to do that with a coat as this is like a key piece to
your whole outfit. Anyways...

I'm wearing an all black outfit again, just because this is my to-go thing. Pulling off that all black
thingy will look like you actually put at least some effort in your outfit even if you didn't. Combing
your hair will make it even more credible. I mean it. There are times where I forget to comb mine :/
And there are just these days where you really don't have the time to think about your looks or what
you're wearing. I think we all do have bigger problems in life. If not, you're a lucky ass bitch. But
making our outfit to one of our daily problems can be fun sometimes, right? My lazy days are
mostly those when I have to take my courses. I really hate wasting my good outfits or items just for 1-
2 hours of boredom interesting lectures, which are fyi all taking place early in the morning. Then
again, I like to be spontaneous and sometimes I grab coffee or have lunch with friends afterwards all
unplanned and in that case I don't like the feeling of being underdressed and wearing the boring look
all day long.

So as you see here, I tried to dress up my simple and basic turtle neck with my faux leather vest, just
to make it a bit more interesting, which is always the fun part. Topping it off with my lovely camel
coat I am ready to go.

What's your opinion on having similar clothes to the rest of the population? LOL. Are you fine with
wearing the same garments that almost everyone in town has or would you keep your fingers off it?
Let me know what you think! Wishin' y'all a wonderful weekend. xx

SHOES I'D NEVER WEAR AGAIN...

Hey everyone,

I am really trying to put more outfit-posts on the blog now and hopefully I'll find enough time to do
this on a regular basis. Here is what I wore  yesterday. Well, the weather here in Vienna is kinda
confusing. The only thing that prevents you from wearing far too much or from freezing is layering.

This layered outfit shows you one option:
I layered a denim shirt with a warm cape. And yes. Capes are one reason why I love fall.
I'm not talking about the capes heroes wear in movies and comics. I'm talkin' 'bout the blanket kinda
capes.   I'm sure in this point opinions differ. Some people find capes not stylish at all.

"This is what my grandma would wear". Yap right, and actually that's exactly what my grandma is wearing.

It is not a secret that my favorite place to shop is my grandmas closet. Because come on. Fashions
pass. And most of the time we love the good old vintage pieces our parents or grandparents used to
wear. At that point I have to say that I love my grandmas attire. It has this chic touch and this is
one of the reasons why I love capes. They are simply chic without this trying hard thing. And that
is the point. I love me some good pieces that seem to be cute, chic and are still items for lazy people
like me.

Even if I'm okay with sometimes wearing the same pieces as my grandma, I still don't want to look
like one. I'm 23 y/o and so I thought I'd pair this cape with a denim shirt and a pair of corduroy pants
I bought ages ago to keep it kinda casual and classy at the same time and to give this whole outfit a
younger and fresher kick. Another reason why I'm a sucker for capes is, that you can conceal at least
some of the jelly rolls - and hey, usually they multiply in wintertime. Also I have to say that I really
feel good buying a one-sized piece, knowing that I can wear the same size like some of my thinner
friends. Yes, that's how I cheat on myself. :P

To add an instant polish to this outfit I decided to go for a pair of heels I bought from H&M. I really
can't imagine how I used to go out and party all night with these killers on my feet. They hurt so
much so I really had to take a break from shooting this outfit. I am definitely not going to wear
them again. The pain also explains my suffering face expression. I am really used to wearing heels
and I also wear them everyday at work but these are a total fail and a bit much for my feet. Last time
I cleared out my wardrobe I thought I keep them because they actually look cute and are perfect for
fall. Well, they are perfect if you want to fall at some point where you can't stand the pain anymore.
I'd rather buy a comfy pair with a good platform and pay a little more than walk in those shoes again.

If you still like these kind of heels for this look, I would recommend you to look for some similars.

HANGOVER OUTFIT

Well, the caption says it all. Actually this is what I would wear after a long night having a major
hangover. Combining a simple tee with a nice simple jacket and a little black for the lower section
is easy as fuck and doesn't need that much of brain work. Not to forget that sunnies are immensely
helpful when you're not able to handle your dark under-eye circles. If you are fit enough you can
always add a little bling to your outfit. Voilá! You're now ready to go.
