WHAT E Y E WEAR : THE AVA

I know - I've promised to post this one on the weekend and I'm 2 hours late but I just came home 

from work and most of you are probably asleep right now so maybe you can enjoy this post with 

a delicious morning coffee then.

So here's the third part of our little shooting and another post for the WHAT E Y E WEAR series 

featuring one of my sunnies by SUNNIES BY CHARLIE.

I already mentioned in one of the previous posts that I have trouble finding maxi dresses as I'm
only 1,47m tall. I got this yellow piece in one of the department stores in the Philippines and
bought it without even trying it on. Seems like the length is just perfect. I didn't want to combine
this dress with heels or sandals just because I didn't want to feel overdressed and I felt like it would

be just too much. I have to admit that I was a little insecure by this style crisscross. As it turns out
I pretty much start to like the casual classy mix. It was one of these days again where I felt like
everyone would stare at my shoes and I did not see but also felt these scornful looks walking down

the streets of (not so open minded) Vienna. But hey. This is what it's all about.

NO GUTS NO GLORY.

I really new that if I would wear this dress with white sneakers I'm not going out without wearing

at least one leather piece. As it was too hot to wear my leather jacket I decided to go with this 

leather vest which also happens to be one of my fave items. So let's come to the eyewear part:

I'm wearing sunnies by sunnies studios again. This time it's AVA's turn. I'm really into reflective
sunnies but it was difficult to find a pair that would really fit me without looking like a bee.
In addition I really didn't want to choose between the ROONEY and the AVA. Blue or yellow
glasses is not a decision that one should make. So I went for both.
So sunniess studios turned out to be a blessing because I really am satisfied with each and every

pair I got there.

And hey. I managed to finally rock my wavy hair again. I really missed wearing my hair like this

since I am still trying to grow out my bangs. Still I am considering to have my hair cut again.

REBELLIOUS STREAK

I'm SO EXCITED to share this post with you. Ladies - here's a little eye candy for you. 

Fellas - take a leaf out of his book please. May I officially introduce you to my best friend 

Jonathan Limbo. 

You already saw this outfit in my previous post but let's get more into the details ...

If 'definition' would be defined as a statement of the exact meaning of style then I would define

Johny's style with these pictures. But let me be honest. It's not easy for me. It really isn't. Finding

the perfect gift is a big challenge for me. Actually I was pretty good at it but everytime he

changes his style and steps up his game I start having trouble finding the right things. It was a little

easier back in the days when he had these super-classy moments because it kinda was my line to

find the perfect pieces. And just when I thought that I've got his style figured out, he just flipped

it in a way that still keeps me guessing sometimes and makes it really hard for me to find a nice

present. But THIS year I really think that I did a good job getting him his rhude bandana shirt

he's wearing here.

... and seriously - THIS outfit is another proof that we all have to learn that the color black is rule #1

in today's fashion game.  Johny's jacket is actually the classy piece but gives the whole outfit that

kind of rebellious streak but still doesn't take away the focus from his shirt.

He also couldn't have done it better and made the right choice when it comes to his shoes. The 

white contrast to his whole outfit kinda makes me see a young leading man who crossed into the 

high fashion game - A successful man who still got game without the need of wearing a suit. 

 

I have to admit that the way of his combination of different styles got me a little. Never ever would I have guessed that I'd wear a maxi dress with sneakers someday. More on this topic will be on my next post...

ON THE RUN

I've been planning on taking photos with /of this guy who happens to be my best friend for a long time now

and we finally managed to set our schedules ( yeah because we're both THAT 'busy'). Just real 

quick: People often ask how we became best friends. I really don't know how we became that close.

All I remember is that it all started with a little conversation in a bus. I'm not even sure if we had a

real conversation or just some small talk.

Time flies and we've been really close friends for many many years now. We have the same sense

of humor, we love good music, we love to travel. 

Another thing that we have in common is that we love to spend our money on clothes (that we 

s o m e t i m e s don't need) !

So I thought I could give you a little foretaste of what is to come in my next posts including his outfit

just to show you his kind of style. The details of both outfits will be listed in my upcoming posts.

WHAT E Y E WEAR : THE ROONEY

Okay guys. To be honest I definitely should not spend my time writing on this post right now but

I'm kinda excited to show you two of my current fave pieces right now ! Who else can relate

to this: You buy something new and you can't wait to wear it but it seems like the following days

aren't the right time for the show off with your new purchases. The excitement is already killing 

you but you know it's not gonna happen any time soon. Either the outfit is an unsuitable one for

the occasion or the weather spoils the party.

I finally got to wear my new sandals and my rooney sunnies and this is the result:

Btw, I think you haven't seen these ripped boyfriend jeans yet. These jeans are also part of my

current faves. Funny thing is that they are pretty much attention-grabbing - just not quite

sure if it's in a good way. I think I have never worn them without recognizing people staring at

 them or me being like: "why would she even wear something like this?", "half of the fabric 

is missing..". No offense ... but I'm aware that people in Austria are hardly taking any risks 

when it comes to fashion but these pair of jeans are really not a big deal. I wish that some 

people would get out of their comfort zone. Nevermind. What really surprised me is that even

people in the Philippines would give me the same look. However I'm addicted to them ;)

Okay ... NOOOOW have a look at this beauty: I fell in love with each and every pair of sunnies

I bought from sunnies by charlie but I think we got a winner. May I introduce you to the lovely

ROONEY. I think these sunnies are perfect for pale or single-colored outfits. They just bring life

to your whole outfit and give your basics a playful kick. You could rock the all-black or

 even all-white outfit with the rooney and could still look classy. In addition you just get

more fabulous. And that's the thing I really love about the ROONEY. You can spice up a simple

outfit or you can just overdo your outfit and it would work anyway. The former would be my

choice and that's what I did here.

Some of you may have seen my new sandals on instagram already. I just had to buy them. I always

was more the kind of person that would go with gold instead of silver but lately this has changed.
I already mentioned in the WHAT E Y E WEAR : THE DELANEY -post, that I am starting to

have a fancy for silver accessories. Maybe it's my thing for this (upcoming) season.
I really had to wait longer than expected to take these babies out for a walk because of the weird

unpredictable (well maybe it would be predictable if I'd take a look at the weather forecast)

weather in Vienna. No - seriously. I'm really longing for summer - even if I've spent two 

weeks in the Philippines. Anyways...

I think that these pieces are my summer faves 2014. What are yours?

WEEKEND TRIP : BUDAPEST

So here's my very late post of our weekend trip to Budapest. So here's what we basically did the

whole weekend long: we enjoyed delicious food and went shopping

As we spent most of the time catching up some good girltalk there are just a few pictures but

still: I hope you enjoy them! (and I admit it - I was a little lazy taking pictures)
