OLD BUT GOLD

BIG PIMPIN? Nopes.
It seems like ever since I was a little girl there was and there still is a passion for faux fur. My mom kept this coat for me and found it when she was cleaning up. As you can see the sleeves are already 'a little' too short but who cares. I don't. Let me tell you this. I love the fact that my mom keeps the items that I used to love as a little girl. There is one good thing about my height. I can still wear my old chlothes (and shoes) - at least some of them. I think I now know the reason why I'm not throwing anything away and keep every single thing. I've got it from my mama.

ALL THAT MATTERS

I've been sick and had to stay at home the last days but this day couldn't get any better. I've spent the day with my best friend. She was living in London for the last year and I've missed her a lot. After my doctors appointment I met her and we went for a nice long walk to enjoy the wonderful autumn weather. I really don't know how I survived the last year without having her here in Vienna with me. So at this point I want to thank the inventors/founders of Whatsapp and Skype haha. I was visiting her back in june but it's not the same if you can't call your friend at any time or meet her whenever it pops into your mind. I know that London is not that far away from Vienna but I really was used to having this girl around me. I'm just happy that she's back for good and I'm SOOO HAPPY FOR HER that she came home with her master's degree. Anyways, she's back and that's all that matters. (I've been listenin' to this song the whole day - Haters gon' hate)

Well, it's time for me to watch my series now. Hope you all had a wonderful day.

VIE BEAUTY

Who ever said Vienna isn't beautiful ... this picture is the perfect proof that you're wrong. I have to admit that I'm also one of these persons, that gets sick very quickly when it comes to this city. But who doesn't? I've been here for 22 years now and Vienna has its beautiful sides but let's be honest - it's just too small. Aside from that, I like to travel a lot. Don't get me wrong. I love beeing here. And today was one of those days where I really appreciated beeing in this beautiful city. Or maybe I was seeing it a little bit different because I've been stuck at home for the last days.
This picture was taken in my hood  - which is known as one of the "ghettos" in Vienna. This picture was taken with my iPhone but the beautiful sunset has still been perfectly captured. Just wanted to share this one with you.

FLOWER BOMB

In my previous post I was talking about one key item of my outfit. AND HEREEE IT IS ! My bomber jacket with this cute floral print. It is actually my favorite jacket to wear this autumn. I fell in love with it and just had to buy it. I personally put bomber jackets more into the casual category.  I think that the colors and the floral print give the jacket the perfect feminine touch. A floral explosion that makes everything more positive. Bomber jackets are this seasons must-haves. When I went shopping lately, I always ended up buyin' a new jacket. My only problem is, that I actually was looking for basics to pair the jackets with. You can never have enough jackets (or shoes, or bags).

PREVIEW POST

Bohoo! Right now I'm at home, lying in my bed being sick. It's bad enough that I'm missin' the birthdayparty of a good friend and the farewell party of a co-worker. But the worst thing about it is knowing that I have to stay at home for the next days ! And yes - I'm bored already. Anyways. I'm always complaining that I don't have enough time. Now that I got plenty of it I though of posting a preview of my upcoming one. Here's the thing. I think that this outfit also works well without the key piece that I'm wearing in my next post. Actually I also would wear this outfit without the vest too. In that case I'd go with classy simple, classy flats or heels instead of the sneakers.

Stay tuned if you're curious about the key item.

OUT OF THE BLUE

... and out of the blue she likes to wear things on her head. Up to recently it was confined to wearing headbands. How did I ever manage my bad hair days before ? This option is just too perfect. So this is what I was wearing on monday - another day another class. The bag is my all-time fave ! Let's call it my longest relationship so far. ;P I got it for my 18th birthday back in 2009 and I'm still in love with it. Anyways, heading to university, Katja took this pictures trying to suit the action to Madeleine's (DARIADARIA.COM) word. She attended the Streetstyle workshop at the Fashion Camp Vienna. At the Afterparty we were talking and somehow agreed that there definitely also should be a workshop on how to pose. Maybe next year? :P Let's be honest. This is the uncomfortable part of this whole thing. So here are the results. Whatcha think ?
